Know what matters before you have to ask.

Arkivana turns Google Search Console into proactive merchandising intelligence for large eCommerce catalogs. It watches your product and category pages, and tells you what changed — before you go looking.

Search Console wasn’t built for a 30,000-SKU catalog.

If you run a large eCommerce catalog, you already know the gaps. Exports cap out long before you’ve seen the whole picture. There’s no way to tell a product page from a category page without building your own regex. Nothing connects a URL back to the SKU it sells. And the data only goes back sixteen months, so the seasonal comparison you actually want is already gone.

So the analysis gets done manually, once a quarter, by whoever has the afternoon. Everything in between goes unnoticed.

Insights that arrive on their own.

Proactive, not reactive

Arkivana monitors your Search Console data continuously and surfaces what changed — traffic drops on high-value pages, products slipping out of striking distance, categories quietly decaying. Delivered to your inbox. You don’t have to know the right question to ask.

Built around your catalog

Product pages, category pages, and content pages are classified automatically and mapped to the catalog behind them. Performance rolls up by category the way your merchandising team already thinks about it — not by URL string.

A permanent archive

Search Console keeps sixteen months of data. Arkivana keeps all of it, from the day you connect. Year-over-year comparisons across multiple seasons, retained for as long as you’re a customer.

Timeline comparing data retention: Google Search Console keeps only the last sixteen months, while the Arkivana archive keeps everything from the day you connect. What we access, and why.

Arkivana connects to your Google Search Console account using Google’s official API, with your explicit permission, in read-only mode.

Specifically, we request the webmasters.readonly scope. That lets Arkivana:

  • Read search performance data for the properties you choose — clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average position, broken down by query, page, country, and device
  • Read the indexing status of individual URLs, so we can flag pages that have dropped out of Google’s index
  • Read your submitted sitemaps, so we can detect when pages disappear from them

Arkivana cannot make any changes to your Search Console account. We cannot submit sitemaps, request indexing, remove URLs, or modify your properties in any way. The access is read-only by design, and we request no scopes beyond the one above.

We use this data solely to generate the reports, dashboards, and alerts you see inside Arkivana. We do not sell it, we do not share it with other customers, and we do not use it to train machine learning models.

You can disconnect Arkivana at any time from your Google Account permissions page, which immediately revokes our access.

Two people, building in the open.

Arkivana is built by Paul Rice and Joe Meador. We built the first version of this for a working eCommerce catalog with tens of thousands of SKUs, because the tools we wanted didn’t exist. We’re turning it into a product.
